Tunas Luhur High School Visits Faculty of Engineering, Encourages Students to Continue Studies at Undip

On Wednesday, July 23, 2025, the Faculty of Engineering, Diponegoro University (Undip) welcomed students from Tunas Luhur High School in Probolinggo. The visit, attended by approximately 120 students and teachers, took place at  the Engineering Hall , Prof. Ir. Eko Budihardjo, M.Sc. Building, 5th Floor.

The Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, Prof. Ir. Nita Aryanti, ST, MT, Ph.D., IPM., welcomed the students from Tunas Luhur High School. In her remarks, she expressed her gratitude for Tunas Luhur High School’s choice to visit Undip’s largest faculty.

“The Faculty of Engineering is indeed the largest faculty at Undip. Thank you for choosing the Faculty of Engineering as part of the series of visits by the students of Tunas Luhur High School in Probolinggo,” said Prof. Nita.

Prof. Nita hopes this visit will motivate Tunas Luhur High School students to continue their studies at Undip. “Hopefully, with your presence here and the explanations from our resource persons, we can increase your enthusiasm to become part of the new students at Undip’s Faculty of Engineering.”

Tunas Luhur High School Principal, Achmad Ardiansyah, M.Pd., expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to visit the Undip Faculty of Engineering. He described the visit as a way to gain information and knowledge, while also fostering a positive relationship with the faculty.

” Thank God , we were given permission and the opportunity to visit with the aim of seeking information, seeking knowledge, and also strengthening our relationship with the Faculty of Engineering, Diponegoro University,” he said.

During this visit, Laily Asna Safira, ST, MT, a lecturer from the Department of Electrical Engineering at Diponegoro University, presented material related to Diponegoro University to the students. The material covered available study programs, facilities, and admission pathways. In addition to receiving the material, the participants also had the opportunity to ask questions about their time at Diponegoro University.

Ardiansyah hopes this visit will motivate Tunas Luhur High School students to continue their studies at Diponegoro University. “We hope our students will gain a lot of information and be accepted, so that more of our students will study at Diponegoro University in the future.”
