On Monday, July 28, 2025, the Faculty of Engineering, Diponegoro University (Undip), together with the Student Executive Board (BEM), held an Alumni Goes to Campus Career Seminar . This briefing event for the 179th graduates was held at the Engineering Hall, Prof. Ir. Eko Budihardjo, M.Sc. Building, 5th Floor.
This seminar is a regular event held to prepare prospective graduates for the career world after graduation. Professionals attend to share stories about career and entrepreneurial opportunities.
“This seminar is an educational seminar on preparing for future career paths, featuring speakers who are competent in their fields,” said Yonan Bagus Arabia, Chair of the Career Seminar Committee.
This seminar featured two speakers with diverse backgrounds. Nanang Kurniawan, Head of Learning and Culture Development at PT Triputra Group, explained the preparation needed for a career in a large company. Meanwhile, Aditya Rahmat W., owner of Burgerhuis Semarang, shared his entrepreneurial experiences.

“This seminar can provide a career overview for students and prospective graduates of the Faculty of Engineering, Diponegoro University, become a means for students of the Faculty of Engineering to know what strategies need to be prepared to support their careers, and provide motivation to students of the Faculty of Engineering to become someone who is optimistic and professional in the world of work,” added Yonan.
The Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, Prof. Ir. Nita Aryanti, ST, MT, Ph.D., IPM., welcomed the career seminar. She advised the prospective graduates to contribute significantly to the nation and to uphold Undip’s alma mater wherever they are.
“The first hope is that alumni can contribute throughout Indonesia, in accordance with the Faculty of Engineering’s March (“The Indonesian region has called us to universal development”). As we hear, the Undip March includes “Uphold Diponegoro.” This means we must be ready to work anywhere in Indonesia and contribute. Furthermore, upholding our alma mater must demonstrate that Undip is a good alma mater,” he said.
