  • Bachelor’s Degree Program in Urban and Regional Planning

1. About the Program

The International Undergraduate Program (IUP) is designed to meet the demands of graduate profiles from the Faculty of Engineering who are capable of competing in the global market. This aligns with the Faculty’s vision to become a research-based faculty of international excellence.

2. Courses and Curriculum

The teaching materials in IUP are tailored to international job market demands, with English as the medium of instruction. The curriculum is aligned with leading engineering faculties worldwide.

Currently, three departments offer IUP:

  • Urban and Regional Planning

  • Chemical Engineering

  • Civil Engineering

Due to increasing interest, in 2022 the Faculty of Engineering expanded the IUP to include:

  • Industrial Engineering

  • Electrical Engineering

During their studies, students will gain theoretical knowledge and international exposure through joint studios, internships, international seminars, and joint lectures with overseas universities, international NGOs, and government institutions.

All IUP students will also have the opportunity to become part of the global community through double degree programs or international student exchanges. Each student can choose one of the following:

  • Double Degree Program
Students earn two degrees: one from UNDIP and one from a partner university. With the international standard curriculum, credits earned at UNDIP can be transferred to partner universities worldwide. Students spend 4 semesters at UNDIP and the remaining semesters abroad.

  • Single Degree Program
Students complete 7 semesters at UNDIP and are required to have international exposure. This ensures graduates have cross-cultural competence and adaptability in global competition. International experiences may include joint studios or attending lectures at partner universities abroad.

3. Admission Requirements

General

  1. Indonesian high school graduates or equivalent, A-level qualification, or International Baccalaureate (IB) qualification
